Gene Thursby's mysticism resource pages: The best collection of links out there on the subject, quite venerable by web standards.
Who's Who in the History of Mysticism is a really fine general chronological introduction to the big names in mysticism, starting with pre-Christian philosophers, and tracing the main track of Western mysticism to the 1700s.. There are links to good capsule biographies and links to the works of many of the figures discussed. Some information on Sufi mystics and Kabbalah as well. Read this first.
A very old (by net standards) page of psychological definitions of mysticism, including brief commentaries and summaries on work by William James, Abraham Maslow, and Andrew Greeley. Sparse but useful.
Mysticism in World Religions is probably one of the best general audience resources in comparative mysticism out on the web. It argues a perennialist point of view by its structure, focusing heavily on the similarities between mystical writings in differing traditions. Annotated, with a bibliography, and compiled by scholars in the field, it's a beautifully put-together site.
